Visual Inspection on Welds per Inspection Plan ITP-B5-2023-HD-01 Rev 1 Item 10 and Detail Drawing DS-8756-02 Rev 0.

Items Inspected: Internals of Tower CO2 Stripper Y1-2023-Q-03.

Findings: Joints of Trap out Pan Item 707-02 to Flat Bars Item 707-04, specified to be fillet stitch welded 1”-8” on upper side of the joint, however, several weld places observed with length less than 1” and a pitch between them longer than 8". Not Acceptable to documents referenced above.

Re-Inspection: Repairs Completed by Vendor in accordance with drawing requirements. See Photo on described issue.

Visual Inspection on Welds per ITP Inspection Plan ITP-B5-2023-HD-01 Rev 1 Item 10 and Detail Drawing DS-8576-04 Rev 0.

Items Inspected: Internals of Tower CO2 Stripper Y1-2023-Q-03.

Findings: Nuts A-194 BM ítem 120 specified to be tack welded on DC Truss Item 130 to field connect to adjustable weir item 380. Referenced nuts found not Installed, just some temporary nuts had been installed for trial assembly.

Re-Inspection: Referenced Nuts A-194 BM have been installed and tack welded in accordance with drawing referenced above. See photo as illustration on described Issue as originally found.

Benefits to Our Customer: By using Fraza Inspection Team, Customer saved a lot of of time and money preventing excessive expenses per back charges for Re-works at field site per unacceptable issues on welding and missing hardware ítems, If Not Corrected/Repaired in timely manner at Vendor Shop.
